Online video conferencing is easy to use, protects your privacy and feels just like being in the same room, but virtually.
There are a few things to consider to get yourself ready for online videocalls:
- Where will you be? It is important that you have complete privacy and no interruptions as much as this is possible. Your set-up needs to be quiet and comfortable. Consider the lighting, so we can see each other. Also keep in mind that we will be able to see some of the room around you. Please make sure you are comfortable with your choice of location.
- What will you use? Doxy.Me works on your laptop, tablet or phone through your browser, so you don’t need to download anything. Whatever you use make sure it is fully charged and that you have some way of supporting it or propping it up. You will not want to hold it for the duration of our time together.
- Video or no video? The preference is with the video at all times.
How does it work?
Before our time together we will send you a link for our personal meeting via e-mail in advance.
You simply follow the link a few minutes before our session and we will join you when we are due to start.
You can use your pc/laptop, your phone or tablet.
Doxy. me allows you to test your sound and camera.
